Segments
Producing comedy segments combines many of the things I love most about television: collaboration, problem-solving, storytelling, and the opportunity to turn unusual ideas into something audiences will remember. Whether it's chronicling a colleague's attempts to learn how to dunk a basketball or creating a PowerPoint presentation to help a writer land a date and/or job, every project presents an opportunity to make something great.
As a segment producer, I was responsible for coordinating the work of nearly 200 people across more than a dozen departments. My role was to ensure everyone understood what needed to happen, help teams determine the best way to accomplish our goals, make sure that all information was communicated clearly and efficiently to everyone involved, and to make creative and production decisions that strengthened the idea, joke, or story being told, all while working under extremely tight deadlines. I regularly troubleshot challenges, found solutions, turned problems into opportunities, and ensure projects made it to broadcast as the strongest version they could be.
Below is a collection of segments I produced that showcase comedy, storytelling, collaboration, and hands-on creative production.
